I'm browsing through this forum now for about a week, all I can say is you guys hanging around here are great...not to forget your art :P .
The enthusiasm here animated me to start working in ps with some of my pencil drafts.
Now I have a big problem: my mouse. I started redrawing the outlines in a new layer and then some sort of coloring and shading in ps. I don't want to show you the results here . I'm thinking of buying an artpad now. The local store here offers a EQUIPE HyperPen 6000 + Cordless Maus. Can anyone recommend this set? Oh, and if anyone from Austria or Germany reads this, maybe you can tell me where I can get a wacom-tablet.
Any comments on the pic are welcome. Maybe someone has tips for me how to work with it in ps. I tried doing it the way Dhabih describes it in his tutorial, but when I try to edit and remove the 'pencil-artefacts', the pic gets to softened.
Thanks in advance,

Togusa,
I take it you're from germany... it shouldnt be too hard to find a wacom since Wacom *is* a german company. They should even be pretty cheap..
To start out with a mouse, i'd suggest to give your pic a new layer, set the layer to 'Multiply' and just color it in.. that should be a good way to start out.
I love the drawing btw, very surrealistic! Do i sense some Dali-influence?

Hi Togusa!
The pic is really cool , I like the composition of it all very much.
P.S. I know that in Austria (or Germany too) it's not hard to get a wacom, just search around a bit.

Thanks for the feedback.
Spitfire, I'm from Austria, Salzburg (check my profily ).
And Dali? Any clocks in the pic? Actually the pic is a draft for a scene in a 15min film I'm currently making with other students. Maybe we'll make our poster with the motive of my picture, however, only if I'm able finish it in ps. |
