I, like most artist sometimes do, use the pose I've seen in another artists drawing or maybe photo. You guys think that's stealing?

Drawing one of your characters in that pose; No -- Because again, you could always take a photograph of yourself in that pose, and just as easily use IT for reference. But, however, copying the other artists art, and then calling it your own, is; The artist didn't invent the pose; He expressed his creativity through the pose.

no, not if you have totally different chracters etc. If its just a pose your using I don't see how its stealing just so long as it doesnt look exactly the same as the reference image. |
