Suggestion: Tto remove all the "sketch-lines" and replace them with thicker black "non-sketch-lines" or just colors........................... |

No offense if im wrong, just speaking out of painful experience, but the most right naked chick appears to be a phototrace to me.

I missed the other posts before they got closed. But.. since you have Alan's permission and you "chatted" with him. Tell Alan to send me an email, so I can verify it and help you clear your name with the forum. Should be easy.. he has my address. |

The chick on the right looks like some porn girl. Just some girl with implants, smiling for the camera. What does she have to do with Alan's sketches of people.
in regards to superman, my critique would be to never use those colors again. When you think of how to color a picture, you must never think "I need blue, so i will select the most blueish color there it". Make them more grey, more dark, more light, more purple, ANYTHING! It won't matter, just don't use the basic colors. Do this, and the picture could look 50 times better. |

Stop using base tone + dodge for colouring, it's a seriously bad idea in my opinion for so many reasons. I know Dhabih recommends it in that one tutorial of his, but it's still a terrible idea

Binder...
You expect us to crit these pieces as if you did them from start to finish.
No.
Go get a coloring book if you want to color shit that badly. And here's another tip; Threnody learned this the hard way too, but it's not a good idea to leave jpeg artifacts from the photos you copied.

Binder: well youve kinda inspired me to hit the basics over again... felt great getting back to my roots but i decided to use the artist that inspires my nephew the most.
Plz dont flame me cuz i didnt have a chance to ask disney for permession.. but i did ask my nephew if i could use his coloring book and he said "tut tut tut, feels like rain." clearly thats a yes.. btw i didnt even realize disney owned rights to pooh.. weird how vast their grip on cartoon spans.. anyways about the picture. Notice the theme, i picked it on purpose, but yes i still did color it so feel free to cut me down to size in all respects about the coloring and shadows.
Credit for image goes to Disney, and the creater of pooh A.A.Miline
btw binder u mind if i color
