well, I don't know if these deserves an own thread, but what the heck. I posted them to mickes "post your port.." thread, but I'm not sure if people actually read old threads anymore.
Anyway,
quick selfportrait from mirror (had some problems, since the enviromental lightning changed during the day, and I didn't draw it all at once )
feel free to crit..
and also, a veeery quick portrait, I did for HumanClay, since he asked for it . From photo of course...

Nice portraits. I also like the self-portrait you have on your site. Are you still doing stuff with Painter? It's taking me a while to get the hang of that program, but I haven't really had time to play with it.

The little girl is really cool. I don't know who it remindes me of, some illustrator from 50's had almost the same style with watercolor. |

sedone, yeah I like that last self portrait better..it was straight from photo though . This one is quite dull in my opinion. I guess, even though it's a study and the angle and expression is quite straight forward, it's still possible to make it much more interessting than what I have done here.
I guess the only thing I'm happy about is that it looks like me and there's no big proportional bummers, but else from that there's nothing more to say about it..it's just a portrait. Hmm, I must do another one very soon, to make up for this bad attempt.
oh and, I haven't used painter after I did that one with my girlfriend and the flying pig offc. I will do another attemt soon, I hope. -Just have to wait and see what my brain tells me to do

Fucking awesome, Joachim! Quit the stupid "the light changed" excuses - because it's simply superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, great - now I have to wear thick make-up, since my face turned green with envy !
Thanks Joachim, no, really!
