Prim baldy Moby is frothing with anger after attending a Marilyn Manson show that saw, among other things, Manson drummer Ginger Fish break his collar bone while jumping over his drum kit. "It was disgusting," huffs the vegan. "That kind of violence is totally unnecessary onstage."
God of Fuck Manson has this to say in reply: "That kind of violence is completely necessary, it's just unfortunate that Moby wasn't injured. My drummer has offered to beat him with his good arm, though."
(FYI Ginger Fish used to date Buffy's side-kick Willow)

What the heck, this paragraph above has no sense in it! And do you mean humping by "dating"?

If you can see a musician on stage, the speakers aren't big enough.

Maruman, who? Perry Mason?
I personally like Marilyn Manson's music a lot. Don't necessarily agree with his outlook on life, but hey, you can't have everything. |

Marilyn Manson's music is brilliant. His attitude is not - I don't care if he thinks it's all a big funny joke that he's played on the rest of the world... making them hate him for something that's just an "act"... It's just plain silly. I can have no respect for a person who acts like he does. Can't help listening to the music though
As to Moby... *shakes head* I saw Moby live in Arvika ...eh... a couple of years ago or so. Don't like him. Crappy music in my humble opinion.
So, basically, if they had a fight I hope both of them get knocked around some...

ehheh Marilyn Manson's music is brilliant? The only reason you know him is because they played a couple songs on MTV that they ripped of from other artists. Pure junk

Eheh... no?
I've listened to Marilyn Manson way before he showed up on MTV. He used to be Trent Reznor's protege before the two of them had a fallout.
While he's made a couple of covers, the real good music where he is concerned is his own material. I like "Sweet Dreams" with Eurythmics much better than MM's version...
It quite amuses me to see someone claim to know how I found a particular artist without even knowing who I am.

Shizo: lame...
A few of my favorite Manson songs:
Irresponsible Hate Anthem
Antichrist Superstar
Fight Song
Rock 'n' Roll Nigger
I Put A Spell On You (best cover ever)
The Beautiful People
etc...
Don't like his music? Tough shit, don't listen to it and don't push your opinions on other people.

Shizo: First off - I'm not a "dude". Secondly, I loved MM's version. I just think Eurythmic's is even better.

Actually, I think the Eurythmic version IS the original. I could be wrong, though... I'm not an expert.

Bah.
Edward Norton and Brad Pitt are great actors. If it had been some no-talent loser, would it have made the movie better? Try to step out of your preconception of the people they are in real life and the people they portray on film. It IS fiction after all...
And I guess we have different definitions of a stereotypical "perfect guy". |

Heh... and I'm a girl.
And I can say this: Brad Pitt IS good looking. But his character isn't very desperate in the movie.
And Edward Norton is a standard looking guy with a great body.
They're both really good actors. I'd say Brad Pitt has his looks /against/ him when it comes to acting. People assume he can't act
Besides... I think "desperate" refers to something else than what you might be thinking about

Did anyone else think the whole movie was very erotic? Am I right, or am I right?
I'm guessing Spit did. |

I love Fight Club. Simply a great movie, with great dialogues. Got the 2 disc DVD while I was in the US. Rocks. I love the whole style of the people behind that movie. You can see it everywhere, in the advertising etc. Loved the Gozilla style ad.... for those that have seen it, you know what I mean.
I'm going to get something to eat now, maybe I'll post more crap later

spitfire: bwahahaha
yes, the eurythmics did the first version of 'sweet dreams.'
and yeah, i like mm's version of 'i put a spell on you' too.
i don't mind the guy. i enjoy his music here and there, mostly the first album for nostalgia's sake...i find him amusing, anyway. at least he's intelligent. most of his mansonite followers, however...
fight club seemed moderately erotic to me. i didn't like the film, but that was because i object to the philosophy of it. it tried to be deep...and failed. in my opinion.
and i've never had any sort of thing for brad pitt, though every other female i know has. i suppose from an objective standpoint, he's aesthetically pleasing. more so than the normal schmuck walking the streets here anyway.
=)
sorry...rambling...have fun kids.

Well I shouldn't say they all suck, whatever you wanna listen to is alright with me. Oh yeah fight club was a excellent movie, a interesting study of human nature. |
