The following is a rant. Take it anyway you want, no disrespect intended to ANYONE.

Art is what Art is, and IT IS in the eye of the beholder. I am a new member here, I see some great things in this forum, really I do. I also see some people flaming others for (at best described as) Ego alone.

While I do not think a crucifix in urine is art, who cares what I think. If you ask my opinion, then I will tell you, but I will not TRY to cause harm or pain.

While I think some of Marilyn Manson's music is good, I dont agree with all of Him and his Show. I like most of Moby's music and own as much Moby as Manson.

While I think Photoshop is a great program, I dont agree that using filters is bad, weak or NOT art. Photoshop allows someone to create, and creation is good (at least it is new everytime).

Isnt it more important to like what you do, and enjoy what others do. Yea, yea, yea, a nose is out of place and an eye is not centered, and a shadow is not perfect, so what. This is a learning experience for all of us.

Nothing is expected to be perfect, and 99% of it will never sell or be seen by the world.

BTW, Van Gogh died poor and no one really bought anything he painted (give or take Theo), but far be it from me to re-do Art history 101.

Some of what keeps me here is the difference of all of YOU. I Love Enayla's stuff, but not all of it. I like Spitfire's and SplitSoul's, but not all of it. Forgive me for not mentioning everyone, but space is limited.

Embrace the difference, not the Different's.

Trust me, I have 01% of the talent of almost all of you. But I Dont mind.

This is not a whining rant of pity, it is a chance to say, dont get bogged down in the nothingness of negative energy.

Draw, Paint, Sculpt or use Photoshop Filters to your hearts content, BUT enjoy what you do.

For the rest of us, have fun, enjoy it, cause it can all go away in less time then it takes to FLAME out another.

Hey, if you hate this, FINE, If you Agree, Fine, If you dont care, FINE.

Again, In my opinion, CREATE, CREATE and then CREATE. Save often and early, Backup on CD Rom, Hardrive and printer. Send to friends and dont worry about the negative of others. Take Criticism with the proverbial grain of salt.
