Just digging through the new art at digitalart.org when I came over this piece which knocked me my tooth as one of m.i.m's. I haven't had time to send him an email yet because I don't knwo whether this is a rip or a piece from inspiration.

The style of the picture is completely and totally different.

The only similarity is the inlay-pipe thingy. And maybe the pop-dots.

aww man... not only did the rip it they riped it badly!. mm whenther its a complete rip or insperation is questionable. but that pretty close boardering to being a rip. :/

haha the more i look at it the more it looks riped....but i dont wanna acuse anyone. becasue i've riped/been inspiered before to.. maybe never the openly ..but

i noticed this thing some time ago as well.

sure, misery's pic is simple, but it actually works. and it looks kind of interesting in my opinion. i don't dig photo manip or collage or whatever stuff that much, but i always liked misery's work.

now the "ripped" picture i don't get. it's clear that it's a copy. okay fine, you can copy someone's idea and pull it off properly, but this one here has nothing in it. i could re-create this Cheney or whoever's picture in about 2 minutes from scratch. that's how much i'll say about it.

but then again, it's Seire in question, what could you expect.

aha, that might have helped before I sent the email. o well, I guess I am going to have to read some quippy, hackneyed line about how I should "fuck off" and "stop trying to get attention".

O well, if he isn't an asshole, his response will be a surprise, hopefully.

I remember this was posted in Topaz's forum... and ppl pointed to they guy out it looked very much like misery's work. I can't remember what the response from him was, but it certainly was addressed....
