Okay I got the game about two weeks ago... it was hell finding an exspansion pack in this city so close to Christmas, But I'm over half way finished with it. I only play about 2 - 3 hours ever other day if that. Sorry but I don't care for it as much as I do the first Zelda 64 game... I liked fishing. Don't get me wrong I like it to a point, but it's just gotten boring.
If you've tried it give me your reason why or why not you like it better than one of the eariler games.

Hey Jabberwocky,
My little bro got the game about a month ago. I played it for about two hours but I haven't touched it since. Not that it's a bad game, I just don't have the time. I think it's alright, but it's too similar to Ocarina of time. I just don't have the patience to stick with the game and get absorbed in the puzzles. I didn't even think the Ocarina of time was that good (yes you heard me) I got bored of it and never finished it. I got up to the Spirit Temple but I just stopped playing. Oh well. The Zelda games on N64 were a little disappointing for me. (so sue me). And I'm a Zelda FANATIC. I just don't get it. There were so many new things and I mean come on, this was Zelda in 3D! But I just didn't get addicted.
That's been a major problem with all next generation consoles. I haven't come across one game that had appeal anywhere near as addictive as the old 16 bit and 8 bit consoles offered.
Give me the old SNES version or even the NES version and I'll be entertained for weeks.
-Jason (counting on the Gamecube or XBox to come through for me)

I played the first one with a friend so that helped, but after we beat it I haven't played it since. Major's mask has bored me to death and I'm not even near beating it yet. I like the graphics, that's about it. Most the time I try playing songs on my instruments. I only need to get 3 more mask and the moon mask! Wow.
64 just doesn't have any good games. If you know of any please tell me. I might go out and buy myself a sega or something just so i can have a selection. |
