Here is my very first digital painting. I did this in Photoshop. I started around 8:00 pm and finished at 12:00 midnight.
It's an original drawing I did of my idea of a Mountain Troll. I'm trying to learn how to paint in digital. I think its a pretty good start. I will improve though. I did learn alot doing this. Well let me know what you think.

Yeah, it's very spec(tac)ular! Pretty dramatic. Sorry I'm @ work, don't have no time to think bout any crits right now, just wanted to drop u a line, for noone replied yet and the pic deserves some replies. Rock on! |

really nice pic. but in my opinion it's too shiny, make it a little bit darker and only let the sword shine, so maybe it gets a better atmosphere
the skull next to the troll looks very kewl

Thanks everyone. Youre right Galen, I see what you mean. Im going to lessen the shinyness, darken it up a bit and add more shadows on the body. |
