Well, I have never been in an art school so I would like to know something about the basic human proportions. I've heard some of them, tell me if anyone is wrong please:
Head/Body: 1/7
Torso/Body without head: 1/3
Legs/Body without head: 2/3
Are women proportions different?
Thanks in advance

Here is good place to start learning. I'm sure there are tons of tuts out there, but this is the first one to pop in my head. Probably because I just saw it yesterday.

Proportions and such change a little when you do different ages also.
