How did you do this pic? Looks rendered, but for some reason it doesn't look quite "round" - looks a little like two offset circles.
If this was done by hand, I'm well impressed! If it was rendered, I'm still impressed! You can't lose

loving every reply in this forum guys =)
it's "hand-made". rendering anything would take too much of my cpu
it's no up-to-date machine!
if anyone is interested in a tutorial (photoshop) i'll throw one together, if i can remember (the pic's 6 months+ old) |

Yeah, make a tutorial - it looks like we could benefit from it!

and colored background may help here =)
make a circular selection on a separate layer
fill it with black
deselect
duplicate the layer
invert it (ctrl + i)
create selection from either one of the layers... (not the colored one)
apply some feather... try some values, i used 8...
nudge the selection a bit up left and delete from the white layer
nudge it down right twice as much and delete from the black layer
deselect
change blending to hard light on both layers
create a new layer with a white dot top left... (see my first creation)
create a new layer, make a line straight down, about 1/8 of the diameter
transform it to look like a cone, then rotate it 45 degrees counter clockwise
align it with the dot in the bottom right corner, make it lay half-way out of the soon-to-be water drop
duplicate the white layer and invert it (ctrl + i)
nudge it down right to look like a shadow
change opacity to 70-75%
and.... uhm, don't be upset if you can't make it look right =)
i failed the first few times!
