To be honest I liked the original foot better than the new one. It doesn't draw my eye like the second one does. I think it's the ankle in the second one that bothers me. |

A simple way to make to make the archer pop out would be to make him a different value, either darker or lighter than the rest or the painting. Or vice versa. But don't just change the archer, make ... |

That looks great! I especially love the hair and the eyes. It could use some more values though. If you plan to continue with it I would add some darker areas to give it a good solid feel. |
