I had troubles with his arm, but I think what you said could fix it...

and maybe I should saturate it a bit... as for his expression... I used myself as a reference... drawing myself in ...

thanks guys... but the publisher didn't like it... the main character should
be more active... (the boy) -playing a bigger role... so I've done this sketch now... hope he likes it... crits and commen ...

I see your point... but actually, he's not a REAL samurau... and the pony-tail is for the graphics... but anyhow... I have to remake him... he's looking too soft in that kimono thingie!

uhh... like the style very much.. got a nice mood to it! and an interesting light situation!

I only see one little thing: maybe the left eye on the boy (our left, his right) is a bit too high compare ...

doodle... got a bit carried away... had a strong urge to put some text on it... so I did...

Experimenting a lot with mixing media and getting a nice trashed texture these days.
