This is just a quick painting started out at a test and I got carried away. I saw this last year near my old apartment on a little road called Fergason (me fave place). It is really cool in savannah when the moon is out and it fogs over.

great pic, sam!! i love the colors in it, great contrast for nightshade. ahh man, supreme work, it has mood. the only thing i think it's missing is some sort of centerpeice? hmm... just kinda bugs me, maybe put some wolf howling in it or something. nah, just do whatever, i think it's a very cool peice of art!!

Awesome! I particularly like the way you've done the Spanish moss on the trees... adds to the effect |

Nice pic. I love the atmosphere in this picture. Great choice of colors. This is probably one of my favorites that I have seen on the forum. The lightning bugs are great. I've lived all over the south and you really captured the environment well. |

As I said on frosts thread (where you posted this too, ha! ), i like it very much. But I think the upper one is better. The ghostly lady draws too much attention away from that wonderful forest. To me it's more spooky if the forest alone seems to tell your subconscious mind to enter this uncertain path luring you into the mist.....uaaaahhh... |

Nice work, Sam!
The fireflies add a nice color dimension.
Keep it up!
