Did this today. First one is markers (overdone :( and second one a photoshop overpaint.. for once, painted in the resolution you see here.
I'm happy I got this much done, nothing seems to go right today. :(

I kind of like the original sketch more - it looks more like a living being.

me too, i like the first image, all the scribbles makes the creature look interesting
