Nice stuff FE! I especially like the one in the bottom right hand corner. Is that pencil scanned in? The symmetry in that sketch is impeccable

Hey there Flex.
It looks as if you have picked the middle guy as a final character, from all the other ones. If that in fact is what you were doing. Although the one in the lower right has a good strong presence. I wouldn't count him out as a character.
On another note.. Did you ever put any color to the Viking that you drew last? I put some flat colors down on him, and he kinda turned out nice. I used a lot of Browns, and some dark reds.
Well look'n forward to somemore..I gata post some my self.
Blitz....Hmmmm I am at a loss for words |

Hi there Flex....I've been watching your work for a long period of time; in that time you've improved by over 400%.
Anyway, about this picture. It's looking pretty good, as I've always enjoyed the quick concepts by you. I especially like the extreme presence of the superciliary arch in each of these concepts as it adds greatly to the overall character, and also as a common link (ie, these may be a whole army). The overall head structure of the middle guy is quite interesting as well, since it seems his head is in a "socket" between his shoulders, rather than being extended by an actual neck. (this, however, may be because the neck is a bit too thick in the back and is connected to the occipital area of the skull. Anyway, still pretty cool.
One little critique, if I may? The bottom right picture seems like his cheek bones are disconnected from the actual structure of the skull (the side arch, in particular). You may want to study this area further to see that the bone actually extends almost to the ear (below the temporal area).
Anyway, looking forward to page 2, and these are looking great as well.
Keep it up! |

Nice concepts. I like these alot.
I can't decide which one I like most.
It's a tie between the top left, center and bottom right.

Kick ass. The middle guy seems to radiate evil I think he really fits your idea of Bloodstealers/SoulDrinkers. The other ones don't seem as evil though. But that middle one is nice. |

Gracias guys,
Mj, you're right and I'm glad you think I've improved 4 fold!
Here's another quick treatment. My quest to evil-ize the guy in the lower right hand corner

Nice, Elf.
If you don't mind a small crit, the guy in the lower right of the original corner has a more domed head that your reworking of him. I think he looks a little better that way. The reworking makes his head look almost concave.
The rest of the reworking, though, is awesome.
Cheers,
