I like the way the nose looks big, it gives it a bit of Perspective scale. Nice touch!

Great job was this done from a photo or a mirror. Also what program did you use to achieve such nice brush strokes. Great job on the hair.

Shadowman - done from a photo which I took (wanted to capture a dramatic lighting effect that wasn't possible with a mirror).

I used Photoshop -- airbrush tool, usually 60% opacity (sometimes lighter), using only solid brushes (none of those soft fuzzy ones). I think airbrush used in this way gives a more brush-like feel than the paintbrush tool does.
