This is Harr. He's a Snord. He doesn't have eyes but he can smell very well. Don't stand down wind or he's liable to pounce.

Harr is Leeek's wild hyenna cousin.

I wonder if they'd get along?

These are cool, they don't have that "I have just learned 3dsmax" look
I especially like the hair and material on the top one, looks very nice.
Would like to see an animation of those =)

They're so soft and fuzzy! I want a plush toy of them to cuddle. I've been sleeping with my Iron Giant toy but it hurts me sometimes.

faustgfx,
Nope, all 3D, hot and fresh from the render.

sacrelicious,
Thanks!!!

McSteed,
Um, your iron giant toy,... it's not the kind that vibrates is it?

SporQ,
Shhhh, be quiet. You might give something away.

hey Anticz, sorry but i just don't like the texture on this dude...
The model is simple but good, i like that, you can easily tell the difference between somebody who models something simple because they want to and somebody who does it because they don't know how to model detail...
Is the hair a plugin?? maybe shag??
If not then how did you do it, it looks deadly!!!

After looking at the time lapse animation on your page, i was wondering did you loft the arms for Leek??
When you create the loft for the eyebrow of the head in your TLA ( time lapse animation ) what did you do?
Did you just delete lots of faces, attached both objects and weld target and selected, or did you do something else???

actually, after looking at the snord again, i think the texture kinda suits him... what is it?? is it a standard max 3d map or is it a plugin, or did you draw a bitmap, because if it is a bitmap then your mapping co-ordinates kick ass......

anyway, cool character...

Jenn,
Thankyou . Feels nice recieving praise. Like standing in the sun.

Sam,
Thanks, I can't wait to animate them. Gonna be fun. Hope everything is going great for you these days.

kaosAD,
Thanks, I'm keeping these guys really simple so I can crank them out in an hour or two. That way I can focus on animation. The hair is a PArray (particle system) that I snap shoted into geometry. I'll add some dynamics to it when I animate it. The arms on Leeek where just 8 sided cylinders I attached together. I lofted his body though.

"Did you just delete lots of faces, attached both objects and weld target and selected???"

Yes. Thanks again for all the comments.
