Above, actually this is not that original at all. I've seen these 45 and 90 degree style at a couple of site, and I remmeber that i saw a pic similar to this. |

faustgfx <--- Don't know much!
The style his is useing is called pixeling. And it means that the artist puts every pixel were it should be. Not using, burshes, fileters and other tools. Old school

above: Original?
Ermh.. no, not really. This is a style that many ppl doing webdesign are using. It's called 45degree graphics (snice everything is seen from a 45 degree angle, or something).
Just surf around design sites and you'll see. It's kinda old now tho. And there are alot of much nicer exampels of it than this.
And yeah, the chair is waay to wide. Looks strange.

Hey zaphod I think the kind of drawing you're refering to is Isometric. It's used a lot in drafting mechanical stuff. |

2 somelurker:
From the 1st sight I've remebered that cover for kiiroi. From my point the kiiroi's cover looks much more nicely.
The picture in that topic looks like inaccurate and non-proportional.

Well..
Eboy (www.eboy.com) a german/NY designerteam
is known for it's c64/amiga style pixeled
productions (they are doing stuff in this
style for years), and they 'inspired' e.g
k10k and the dude who did the kiiroi cover etc. The whole isometric revival is not new
Another really good example of this small
pixeled images style is this great site :
www.templar.com -> Damn good stuff imho.
