Because I'm just 19 years old and because technology is not yet advanced enough to enable me to fly to another planet for a reasonable price.
And yeah, Fight Club rules. |

I just want to nail Jessica Alba. And Halle Berry. And Josie Maran. And Salma Hayek. And Penelope Cruz. And Katherine Hepburn. And Al Gore. It will be an orgy. Oh yeah!

You can't breathe enough on your death bed.
So what i want to do is breath enough =]
Start breathing right now! |

I'd like to die believing that there is hope for the world - and that I had played some part in that.
I'd like to die happy, but still with ambition and new goals.
I'd like to die emotionally.
So before I die, I've just got to figure out how to set up those things!

shahar2k, I'm working on it.
Getting an education in film isn't easy. I have to work my ass off just to get IN to schools that teach it. It used to be a competetive business, now it's a competitive education for a competitive business.
Why?
I like entertaining people. The medium chose itself: it combines all the elements I've always liked (though not necessarily excelled in): story, visual, music etc.
I didn't realize this many people would have the same fantasy. Kinda cool, but also scary: these people are the 'competition' if it exists. |

I'd like to exist.
I trust myself enough to know that what I choose to do, will be what I want to do - otherwise I wouldn't choose it. With this view, I don't think anyone can not be satisfied with what they have done in their lives. To wish for something outside the scope of your grasp (based on the type of person you know you are) is . . . reaching for the stars? Disappointment?
It is the road to my deathbed that is what I want from life before I die. And this is a given. Life's grand!

Enayla (sp?), Ragnarok, and Lunatique - you three are the only ones who I can relate to in this thread.
"If you loved life, you wouldn't want to leave." -r
"Whatever makes me happy, is what I want to do before I die. This changes from day to day." -e
"Film: because as a medium, it encompasses many creative disciplines: visual, sound, writing, and acting. For people who are storytellers, but also very visual and sensitive to sounds, making a film is a dream come true." -l
I too have been wanting to make a film for years. Though, seeing that everyone and their dog wants to . . . it's suddenly lost its allure. I think my only impetus for wanting to make a movie, though, is not noble at all. I just think that I can make a better movie than most that I've seen Like Lunatique is saying (nice name btw - and speaking of praise for lunatics, I like your signature Ivey) movies combine the major artistic outlets. It's like killing all of life's creative accomplishment requirements we may place on ourselves, with a single proverbial stone. But further, all of these forms of expression together are far more impactful than each piece alone. Sitting in a theater, more goes through my mind and my _gut_ than any music, literature, painting, dancing, etc. provides on its own.
Why I think I can do it better than I've seen is simply because I haven't seen anyone blend the music, the visual, the words, etc. together in a completely cohesive manner where all the connections between the different elements are thought out over and over again, and tweaked with the shape of a womans hip in mind. (woman's hip is a metaphor, I could have used anything smooth and natural, if you're wondering)
