At The Gates does kick intense amounts of ass. I really like Dillinger Escape too. Go USA!

My buddy drove six hours down to Los Angeles to see Dillinger play in a small club and got to hang out with them after the show.

The last two days, I've been listening to the soundtrack for Bram Stoker's Dracula... I swear, that's one of my favourite soundtracks ever.
It's been that, basically, and Placebo.
Mmm... Placebo.

Most of my art is not done on comp, but I'll post anyways, For me it's..
NIN (very - very good to listen to while painting)
Merylin Manson (Helps when I wanna go for the rough edges on my paintings)
Tool, A Perfect Circle(more of a relaxing thing)
THE TEA PARTY (that's juat beacause it's my all time favorite, and also very inspiring)
Rammstein ( more of an energy uplifter)
And then perhaps a little NoFx for the fast paced work, scetches, rough charcoal drawings.
Ant then ehenever I try to do details I have to listen to something calm...
Pink Floyd, Sibelius, Grieg, random Gregorian Chants, and the number one album - "1933 - best of Mussolini"
But um - yah...
It affects whatever painting whatever music I listen to. I've got a 3CD changer so if the first two are Tea Party and Sven Va:th and the third one is slayer or Manson, it makes the finished product look very unconsistent. But most of time I have nin, tool, and tea party playing |
