Very well done picture, Christer. I'm really impressed. This is way off subject, but I have a question for you. Did you use to live in Sandefjord (Norway)? |

This is quite nice.
Ok.. crits.. first thing I noticed
Her hand. Should be finished.
Your signature. I'm not one to tell you how to do your sig but it really detracts from the work. I suggest making it more discreete and in a discreete color too.
The pot. Hmm.. its not so important so why bother to light it like its real important?
Also.. the steps are uneven and the pot on them makes the picture a little funny.
Otherwise its really nice.. You might try to clean up the sillohette of her arm too.

After reading Light's reply, I have to agree. It looks to me like she has monster style hands almost. Of course I understand total femininity isn't desired, she looks like she'd kick any of our asses. But it almost looks as if she has some weird ass virus.
Just my opinion...

Holy Shit! I just found out YOU are the guy who made the UT models I play with on my machine at home!!! They NEVER look as good on my screen as the pics you have on your website though... Good job! Especially love the idle animation you made for the nude Conni. . .. |

Wow.
I'm amazed this thread is still alive I would have never expected this many replies.
Thanks to everyone who replied with their crits and comments! I have tried to take them all into consideration, and dealt with those I agree most with. I have fixed up a lot of things that were bothering me, and a few that I wouldn't even have seen if it weren't for you guys.
Since it's already sent to the editor for approval (fingers crossed), there are still things left a bit in the rough, but I sometimes like it like that. I feel my art tends to lose some of the edge if I spend too much time smoothing out and polishing this and that. I actually like a few quirks here and there, and besides that I get fed up of working on the same piece over and over again. A few imperfections here and there I can live with, at least as long as the majority seems to like the piece as a whole. But I am trying hard to learn from my mistakes, so that slowly I'll be able to avoid doing them before rather than after.
Gotta get faster and avoid bad habits. I am working on it.
If people are still interested, I will post the final image when I have gotten the final approval from the editor.
Again, thanks to everyone for taking the time to help me out, I will keep posting as soon as I have something
-Christer
