And should be a rather quick one. Is there a way to upload files through a web browser via FTP? I am using Internet Explorer 5. Thanks in advance.

You can, but it's an asshole.
Just go get an FTP program (cuteftp, ws_ftp, whatever). They're less than a meg and much, much easier.

I am not that stupid! I need to be able to do it in a web browser because the computer(s) I am uploading with do not allow software to be installed.

What Chris said, and then copy the files from HDD to browser, or drag n' drop 'em.
