Umm. If you loved Delta Force 1 but wanted more more more realism and serious single player this is your thing.

yeah, the demo ran a bit slow for me too, I have a 500Mhz Athlon w/ a gforce 2. It's funny to crash the jeep the commander lets you drive into the water...they get angry...

they better optimize the damn thing before they release it...

well i played it in win2000, so it might work in nt4.

yeah its a good demo. i really do hate the menu interface thoguh. i love jumping into that enemy UAZ (i think thats what it was called) when you get into that fight near the first set of houses. its damn fun to go driving all over the place hehe.

Ok listen to this ya bums.. if you still got it installed and want to check out THE shit in that demo, do the following (found this out accidently).

You probably followed instructions and all you got to use was prolly jeep,UAZ and rpg/law and then you got on helicopter and got blown up eh? The end. Well smart shizo here found a little trick to get to use T-72 tank/Ural truck/BMP tankette and maybe even Shilka anti-aircraft tank.
Anyways being the Russian bum i am, here is what i did. In the very beginning ran to the nearby grey armored machine (that kills you if you shoot your own) go behind it so the two soldiers are on the other side. Throw grenades at it.. youll hear breathing that means one last grenade and they get out. Throw a couple grenads so one gets them out nd another blows em up (finish w/ rifle) THEN be careful because 2 soldiers gonna shoot at you, so you kill them first. Then you can try diff things - shoot commander in jeep (racists - surprise!) kill other two soldiers who are far away from jeep. Then look at your map, go to the edge of island (behind jeep) and there is broad way through the ocean to other island where russians are (shortcut) from there silently go to Shilka on the side of the mountain and you MIGHT have a chance to shoot its driver in the face and get in (but if he sees you, he closes the door and aims at you, but dont worry it wount kill). Then go behind the mountain where the russian base is, silently go up to the road in that town where T-72 crew is standing and kill them. Then get in T-72 as fast as you can because people will shoot at you. In T-72 you can relax now and drink a cup of tea.. then you can do ANYTHING :) I told you russian tanks are the best!!!!1!!!

Anyways i tried this a few times, and i WON the game killing all russians in the area (sorry bros :o) and it said "You won! The enemy ran away from you" ehhehe

thats it, very easy (yo yea, i also launched a couple RPGs at america in that place where you get in jeep as driver and two RPG soldiers get in, which i killed and taken LAW/RPG from). HEHEHEheheHE long pos, try it

A couple tips - at the beginning try to aim directly at the armored car when throwing grenades. If not enough grenades, go up to the car and pick up grenades from it (!).

Also its best to kill the farther away soldiers too (far in front of jeep) otherwise they'll chase your arse. And the place where broad is, it has the pillar thing on it (you know the one that blinks light to incoming ships). Dont drown!

My critism:
Good - HUGE map as big as real island. Some of the best Russian military vehicles of the time. Reminds me of childhood with AK47 shit :)
Bad - taking aside smaller control/gui/other bugs.. the game shouldnt use that many PHOTO textures!!! It really cuts my eye how they put photo on every model, its horrid :p
Also all american vehicles suck mauhahah cause Russia 0wnz j00

i just found something rather cool. its an editor for the OpFor demo, but the problem is when you edit it, it's all in C or C++ (i cant tell which hehe) but i have figured out a little bit. i can change the time of day and the skill of the players and unlock the vehicles, but i did a bunch of editing and the game locked up, if anyone wants to give it a shot heres the link

i love flying the helicopter 300m/h straight into the groun, ejecting right before my co-pilots body crumples in the twisting metal.

the tanks are fun with the time set to 4x.
i love running over the troops, knocking down trees and playin soccor with the jeep. playing soccor with the jeep is the best...especially if its full of people muhahahahaha
