EviLToYLeT's comment about not seeing me do more complex scenes got me thinking(thanks ). It HAS been a while since I did any complex narrative paintings. A friend of mine also mentioned she'd like to see more dynamic stuff from me, so I did these just to get back into shape. I think I like them, and will paint them.
*sigh* That's adding ANOTHER 2 pieces to the WIP stack. Grrrrr.......
Dr. Bang predicted I'll never finish these. I hope I can prove him wrong.
Any C&C will be appreciated.

2nd one is just awsome!
The whole motion and dramatic situation comes out really good!
Color it!!!
Wish I could rate you...
Why can't I?

Thanks.
The rating thing is misunderstood. It was a bad idea to begin with. It's supposed to rate how others feel about a particular member, not how good their work is. Many people turned it off in their profile. I did because it's just silly. |

jr- Heh. I'm a Val Kilmer fan. I think it's the long braids on the sides that does it.

I thought about it too, but compositionaly it didn't look as good. Hmmm. What if I add threats behind them as well? Let me try that. |

Looks good, one tip though, save b&w drawings as Gifs and modem users will be happier |

Nice...Hope you'll manage to finish it.
Suggestion:
If you moved the hero and his family (or maybe villain?) towards the bottom right so that he is put in a more "opposite" location in relation to his main adversary i believe it could become more dynamic. |

you'd damn well better finish these two ;} love the 2nd one, love the 1st one... even more so the addition to the 2nd one. should turn out to be exceptional paintings if you finish them. |

Looking snazzy!!! I like em all!!
On the last one.. The reaper dude.. give his cape a little wind action.. Your hero guy and his gal have waving hair in the wind... But other than its looks promising! You better paint these!
Great Job Luna

nice drama and storytelling sense on both of them.
the right upper leg looks too long in the second picture (foreshortening). |

I went ahead and roughed in the colors. I'm not sure if I like the color scheme. C&C?

One more thing, It would be easier for your eyes if you painted the pic in "not rotated" position, you can rotate it later, even Mullins has some (perspective) problems in his tilted images... |

I find the color scheme way to 'lite'. This scene almost begs to be a dusk or a full moon night set-up. |

AWESOME Lunatique, i love her ass on the first pic. For the coloring part, i think you nailed the skin tone right. BUT, for some reason, the color arent very exciting and harmonous, perhaps, its because of grey sky in the bg. The light would be natural if it was yellow, right now, its white, just like in a office building.
Since theres so much things in this image, maybe you could stretch the width of the pic a bid wider, cause i find more appropiate that way.
NOW GET TO WORK AND STOP BANGING CHICKS!! |

Thanks for the crits.
Bg- spooge has perspective issues? No WAY.
EviLToYLeT- you mean in Sunnyvale or China? In case you didn't know, I'm taking a sabbatical in China until sometime next year(or until I'm done with learning Maya).
chrono1- You know what? I've been thinking the exact same thing. I think dusk might be super cool.
Bang- hehe. The picture used to be SQUARE. I already elongated it a bit, but I dunno about even longer.
I'll probably change it to dusk lighting, so no more pale office lights!
Hey, you implying I'm banging anyone else other than my GF? YOU are DR. BANG, not me.
