The star/galaxy background in the text is just way to old school for me, sorry
I like the top and right side layout though |

website enter graphic...
do you mean that this image I am looking at will be one large hyperlinked graphic?
bad idea.
too big
Splash pages with a single point of entry should typically be compact in design. Try not to offer too much right waway - save it for the actual site/content. You're on the right track though by letting the user know the site requirements. If your site is in Flash and html, then two points of entry are accceptable - one for flash and the other for html. For what it's worth, I have the latest Flash plugin, but I almost always go to the html site, because it typically loads faster and is less likely prone to over-design, and I am on a T1. I will usually only view Flash sites on heresay ("you gotta see this - it rocks")
My two cents.

Ahg, thanks for pointing that out Tom, I totally forgot to mention a lot of what you said!
I agree that the whole pic shouldn't be a splash page, but I guess its just going to be the "Enter" part, right???
Its strange, I thought I was the only one who chose the HTML sites instead of Flash. My reasons though is that flash isn't easy to move around. You can copy from it (say I want to copy a quote, i can't, since the text is the actual flash, and not text. Same goes for images), and so on. |

Much better
Though when using it, you should take out all the black and slit the picture in such a way, that the black parts of the picture can be replaced by black web color. |

Thank you for all the input!
I'm cuting up the picture now for final editing. Do you think I should add a tiny flash image on the enter screen so that if they don't have flash the install will begin?
Peace |

You could do that, however almost everyone has flash these days, so if its already mentioned, I dont think it would be nescesary... besides, if someone clicks "flash" and they dont have it, they are just to stupid to enter the site at all.
One thing I might add, is that you might want to write in another font, since the text is quite hard to read... |

Just stick with a standard Sans-Seriff font, if you want something nice and pro looking try the Nimbus family.
Flash Sites tend to annoy most professionals, I would put a flash section instead of an entire flash site. A small section showing of your talent. I tend to choose html sites for reasons above and also because many people overdo flash websites and I am forced to sit through 15 second animations everytime I click on something. Really god damned annoying. |

It's a mix of Flash and HTML site. Navigation functions will all be in flash anim. Some animation through transition linking. |
