ahem.
It's not the style varying that's bothering anyone here. It's the skill level varying between pics. Wake up, Kombosagi.

Errrr...did you know Kombo that Real Madrid is #1 now in the Spanish League? And they won last year's Champions League? And I do not like football (soccer for some people).
I prefer rugby, and well, my country won Zimbawe in their last test |

well ill make some comments on the art it self. for the drawing of the woman. i would suggest fixing that jaw. especialy the chin. it should be much more curved and smooth rather then flat and angular. the lips could also be a bit bigger, but thats not that big of a deal. other then that its not that bad. the shading is nice |

the demon pics are drawn by someone with a very tight grip on anatomy.
the three heads however have problems with both perspective and anatomy.
the eyes are placed too high on the head and placed asymetrically, the nose is too small, the face is generally too long, in the 3/4 perspective pic nose and mouth are skewed.
I dont claim to be better than you. I just wonder how your anatomical knowledge can change so drastically from picture to picture.

thanx 4 the crit, the reason, the 2 pics are so diferent is the time gap between drawing one and the other. It's a good thing, coz it means I'm moving in the right direction (I hope)

Hi-
I've been monitoring your post and it seems to be going kinda rough. This is my first reply/post -so I hope I do not step on anyone's feet in the process...
I was thinking some of the problem may be the difference in the approach with the mediums. If you are so accustumed to one method of rendering form -especially one that specializes in characterization of the form, and it is all you know then you will not have much sucess in other mediums.
Canned Solution#1: Draw (w/ a pencil) from life more. |
