I slept for some time...I spent all night throving up after those Tequilas. Argh!
But i'm back now in great shape and ready for work more on the pic
Thank you for the replies and comments.
I started this picture after seeing Corinnes
Elf-picture. Since i wanted to add pale non-shiny Brom type of skin i thought that it
could be a Vampire, but since i don't know too much about Vampires i made the awful mistake by placing him in direct sunlight. Poor fella. Anyway, taking it away would make the pic dull i think.
Also i dunno if they have pointy ears.
they do, don't they?
EviLToYLeT: He has the cape-thing resting around his neck.
Beet: I totally agree with toning down the red and add some more details in the shadow.
Thanks for the help.
Janne: That's really strange, i've never noticed any problem with Kathode.Hmm.
Sear: Yeah, i see it now. I'll blurr it out a little more, thanks!
Veb: Thanks alot! Wanna join me, Chester, Joachim and christer for figure drawing
tomorrow? Give us a call.
Bg: thank you for the crits. I agree with most of them, but i'm not sure what you mean about the forehead being too dark. It is the brightest part of the whole pic, isnt it?
The ear is too undefined and blurry and i don't like the shapes of it, so i think i'll
re-do the whole ear. i'll also fix the neck.
Thanks alot
Bubonic: I don't have any steps on this piece. It's just one file. I would love to do one, though.
Light: What? Haha! How come a Sweed? maybe he is too pale? I think his right shoulder looks a little too small but not really the left.
Frost: That's kick-ass, man! Really scary.
Those red eys looks great! Glad to see you paint again
Failsafe: we're getting drunk. No seriously, we're starting to plan our next project.
Liquid: Thanks alot. Glad you liked it. I saw your Vampire pic. I'm gonna reply to i there.
Conor: Dunno..I just thought they had ears like that. Maybe i just maked that up..

Really beautiful.
And lol, it looks nothing like a Swede in any costume.
Frost: that frightens me.

Micke
You know what it is like they are both good right although version 2 is more defined but as far as the look goes version one is like he is thoughtful...dwelling...while version 2 looks as though he is dark and brooding.. I think both are great because they convey 2 diffrent moods....good work my boy... |

Hi Micke,
What i am missing is the difference between the side planes and the front planes of the heads. They seems to be about the same level in values right now. |

Spooge: Sure, sure... BLAME the PC... hahaha. It's looking good, but I guess some of the subtler values could have been lost.. |
