I might be posting this a little early because I plan on rewriting the bio page and fixing up a few images, but other than that my first website is born. Let me know what you think about the layout and the pieces I've choosen. Sorry there's not much you guys haven't already seen. Btw, this is a temp location.

thats a real nice and easy to navigate page.
the only thing that i was dissapointed at was that there was soo little work shown especially since the ones that you do have up are soo damn good

the painting with the monkey riding the jet engine has cool similarities to the transparent alien thing. the wires and tubes.

The sketches were cool, got a chuckle out of quite a few. |

Good stuff peach. I also really like the spalsh page. It shows creativity and skill while keeping humor, which is suprisingly a hard thing for alot of people to do.
I like your sketches, the remind me of my style, Real lose and gesteral.
nuff outta me

`What sort of people live about here?' asked Alice.
`In that direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in that direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad...' |

Nice site. Easy to navigate & not heavy on graphics. The Coverpage is great
I thik you should add some more METAs in the head of your html documents so that search engines can find you.
ooops I forgot to tell you that i think all links that go out of your site should open in new window

I enjoyed the sketches. Really weird way of building the pictures, compared to mine anyway.
Many of the paintings I had already seen, luckily we have them now organized and available :).
Site layout is nice & clear, keep it that way. More babble about each pic maybe :)
You're getting a link from me.
btw. what was the thing that changed your digital painting so much?

Peach, great site. Clean and to the point. As an art director, I would have liked to see more in the resume dept. List what projects have you worked on and highlight the notable ones. What software you are familiar with other than Photoshop? Maybe add a links page for your friends' sites so your possible employer doesn't think the sites were designed by you.
I thought the gallery was great. A lot like a college portfolio, keep only the strong pieces you are proud of and don't inundate it with every piece you've made since high school. If you really want to use these older pieces, make sure they are clearly marked as older pieces. Maybe even make separate pages for older work and your current work. This will prevent a possible employer from thinking the good ones are a fluke.

Great site! I like the 'Gross' picture especially. I can see how your pencil mark making transfers to Photoshop well. Not sure about the grey/green backdrop though, I suppose it has to be quite neutral... |

tzekin, Good points. Thanks, ment to have the windows open seperatly and forgot.
Cos, 25
Hipmix, thanks. I'm still at FFI and trying to biuld this portfolio so I can start looking for better work.
Gecko, a link? cool beans, but hold on. This is site local is temporary. Look at my profile in one week and it will have a permanent url. Concerning my painting, the thing is I was doing graphics for "work" and making nondigital art in school and never felt compelled to go off and make some digital stuff on my own time. In school I paid a lot of attention to what was concidered high art. Thanks Gecko
kohse, great to get feedback from a director. Most of your advice seems to fall in the category of good profesonal wisdom that I tend to ignore. I'm pretty inocent when it comes to business. You're right about the older pieces. They will shortly fall off the list as I generate more images. I didn't think of people confusing my friends links with my work. I was just trying to streamline the bio/links portion. Thanks for your time.
PlantMan, I'm not sure about it either. Cheers
