40 minutes ago some dick in a truck ran a red light going 60 km, totalled the side of my car while I was turning, and ran.
All the glass from my Golf exploded over a 500 sq. foot area, the passenger seat was accordionned to half it's width, and the whole passenger door was pushed in 2-3 feet. I'm fine! Not even a scratch, no impact compression even.  A passenger would probably not have done so well...sobering...
2 people tried following the truck to get the licence, but he was going too fast. The corner it happened at has a red light camera though, so I might get lucky.
...just wanted to vent.

People like that suck... sorry to hear it. It's good to know that you weren't hurt in the accident though.
On a side note - I just love Vancouver. What a lovely city. I went there for New Years in '99 and stayed at the Pan Pacific. *drool* I've just been waiting to get enough money to go back.
And on a side-side note - Hey Sub, I'm from the Dallas area too

That's sucks man! I hope the video turns up something helpful. That guy should have his truck smashed up for compensation, too. He probably won't have insurance or has warrants - I would guess that's why he ran.

Lucky you weren't in the passenger seat, had you been, you would have met me (I work in emerg at VGH). And, like I tell my friends, you don't want to visit me at work.
