Hi LeChuck...
I'm downloading 'Darkness' now...
Any interest in listing the byte size next to each MP3 to download?
I'll update this after I hear it...

Very nice! I like how you mixed and arranged it. Did you have any visuals in mind when you did this - or afterwards?
This is a very quick representation of what I see when I listen to the piece called Darkness (wish I was better at bg's)...
In the beginning of the piece, I imagine flying into an atmosphere and through the clouds of an alien planet. The orchestra hits happen when the clouds reveal this huge expanse of a lonely, desolate landscape with some machinery (the train whistle) here and there. When the beat kicks in, I see a group of slaves (who turn out to be freedom fighters) stopping their rigorous work and contemplating release from their shackles. I can hear the sound effects in my mind of big generators off screen (the beat breakdown about a minute and a half into it) that power this pollution-ridden world held in the grips of tyranny... wish I had more time to imagine and translate...
What equipment did you use for composition, sequencing, effects and mixing?
I have tons of stuff to put on my site - but none of it is in MP3 yet!
I really like this piece!

Wow, Thanks. I never thought I would inspire someone like that. Did you do that pic after listening to my track? I will put the byte size of the files on my site just as soon as I finish typeing this.
The music was made with a program called "Acid Music". Its the coolest software package ever created. I recommend picking it up. Would you belive that I have zero musical background. Thats how easy to use this software is.
If you would like, I can give you a secret link to a cilp of my newest track.
May I use your pic on my site to illustrate "Darkness"? I will include your name, website, E-mail, or whatever you want.

I have been doing a bunch of songs at one time the last 2 days. When I get time I will post them. I am even doing a follow up for "Darkness" I may end up calling it "Fallen Darkness" if I cant think of anything better.
Thanx for letting me use your pic. I will let you know when it is part of my site. |
