Hehe, it's hilarious! Marvellously painted, too. The potatoes, the ham, the wine glasses and everything is so well done.
I love the dark humor in this piece, too. I just feel sorry for the fifth pig in the family portrait. |

I think those pigs are great! I think everyone should draw an animal over and over. I loved that one with the big and the suit. pig santa? |

bilbo : i've been thinking about selling prints via internet for a while now - this is in print size. This works as a poster, as well as a christmas card ( heheh ), i think. That, and i had a fun time doing it
thanks for the c&c, people |

This picture creeps me out soooo much. It makes me think of animal farm, and the pigs in that book really scared me ^_^
Great piece though, I imagine it was meant to be a bit unsettling and you succeeded =) |

Hey klaivu,
I saw your original version over at another board. Anyway, your addition of the family portrait in the background pushes this piece over the top. It's so sinister: 5 pigs in the family portrait, and 4 sitting down to a dinner of ham.
Nice to be able to comment on it here by the way.

Beautiful ,Klaivu.. i love everything about this picture.. the pig-daddy rocks!
i remember you did a similar pig portrait once which had the same features.. are you creating these for some reason other than the enjoyment of sijun members? |

I'd also buy a poster. I'll hang it in my room and it will remind me not to eat pork, ever.
Excellent piece. |
