Yeah, brothaz, now this is your turn: make a sw337 pic based on the shabby sketch above, a full-scale piece complete with mountains, a forest, a nice meadow and lightning de lux. Try to make the CT look nasty and the terror like he really doesn't know what's gonna happen to his throat soon. It doesn't matter if your pic diverges from the specifications as long as you realize the basic idea.
IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU DRAW, PAINT OR RENDER IT. You could even make a photo or smear your menstruation blood all over the scanner to do it. It's completely unimportant HOW you realize it. Just try to make it look neat, and if you don't succeed in doing so: don't worry and post it anyway, we are here to have phun, right?
I've chosen this scenario because it's even challenging for the best of you guys. Just imagine the work you can put into the lightning (fog, moon light, shadows...). If you don't feel like accepting this challenge on it's full size, you could simply use some photo material and your 1337 Photo Shop skillz to achieve some good results too.
Keep it real, folks! The contest will end in 4 weeks. I hope at least some of you will give it a try - just because it's hard it doesn't mean you can't do it, always keep that in mind!
Ciao,
[666]Flat |

BTW, the forum readers will decide which piece wins the contest by voting their favorite pic. Of course everbody who joins the contest is a winner by default, but you'll surely understand that a contest without an official winner wouldn't be very... tingling in terms of friendly competition.
Enjoy!

I'm very sorry if I disturbed your apathy, but I remember some very interesting competitions which were going on right here - and nobody assumed at that time the initiators would be "harvesting for free illustrations for their evil use".
Looks like the good ole times of friendly competition just for fun are finally over, welcome to Planet Paranoia.

Actually it's a good theme for a contest (cs scene) but it has to have a free topic and umm... flat[666] as an organizer?
hehe, plus if photos of him naked is the prize - dont count on me |

Perhaps we should all show a little caring? Flat has finally gotten away from posting things which offend half the forum, and is trying to post something more appropriate. Who cares if it's CS based? A lot of us have done game-based pics. We have asked Flat time and time again to post more appropriate material, but now that he has people are prejudging his intenetions. I propose we not refer to this as "another flat flame post" and either give constructive critism, or participate in his idea. Don't go off on a flame tangent without proper reasoning. Just my 2 cents.
Flat, I'm glad you made this thread because this is decent work you've done, without going into the realm of potty humor or porn. Perhaps if you made more work like this to be critisized you might regain a better reputation (as long as you don't go into super-slang land) . |

Just for the record, [666]Flat, it's "lighting" not "lightning". Just one anal crit from me, all the other spelling and grammars spot on.
I get the feeling this is meant to be comical in theme somehow. Does the CT have to have the daisy perched on top of his head? |

Of course not. A sunflower or a tulip are OK too. |

Please forgive a stupid question, but...
Is this downloadable without the text anywhere? Or do I need to filter it out in PS once I get it from the forum?
Just curious. Want to play with it. |

hehe. This dident turn out exactly how I wanted it and apperently 'looks messy in a jpeg sort of way'. I posted it in another thread called 'raid scene' because I couldent find this one, but now that i did, feel free to critique (or just plain make fun of) it.

the last time someone made a piece of art for him he posted it on the front of his site but didn't give the author credit anywhere except in a mouse rollover, meanwhile in large print on the bottom of that page it said all artwork copyright 666flat... |

wait a sec... that was no contest, I asked peeps for drawing me - and asked the artist if I might use it PLUS I changed the copyright-thing after a day or smth (I simply forgot to change it). whatever, the pic stayed on my site for a max of 2 days, every picture on my site you can see now was made by me ONLY. so plz don't mess up da facts, buddies, and get movin'!
