Hi

I did these a while ago as a project for an illustration module. I can see errors in them, but I would be interested to get some feedback.

They were painted with Gouache. Then I realised after scanning that they lacked depth so I did some dogdy shading.

And in the stampset...

any crits are welcome.

fabulous. I love it when people achieve the hyperrealistic computer look with natural media...it looks better.

Hey, these are pretty damn swoit!

I'm curious as to how you lined up a stamp gig. I know that art goes onto stamps, but I've never actually considered it as an avenue before, and it really intrigues me. Being a fella Brisbanite (for now) will make it easier too @:-)

Hi Brain,

Read my post more carefully. "project for an illustration module"!! its not a real gig!

I'm assuming thats a compliment! thx. *head grows vigorously*

I am doing a graphic design course. Part of the course involves learning some illustration skills.. you have to broaden your skills base. I also happen to really enjoy illustration so thats also why I come here.

Any crits?

May I ask where you're doing the course? And how it's going?
