HI All,
Let me know what you think of this image. It's kind of a combination between UI design and background illustration. Even though it's kind of a pointless image, I really enjoy staring at it. Heck, as long as it's fun to look at, I'm happy.
I also posted some new stuff on my webpage (photos and music I wrote) wouldn't mind getting your feedback on those too.
thanks,
Kamal

Very nice. It's a lot like a ride concept. The image has a lot of movement, I can imagine it swirling in chaos, with huge cords of amber lightning ripping out, etc. It reminds me of the alien ship in the first Star Trek movie, Vger. Very cool.
I'm not too crazy about the control panels, but they are necessary. I think there should be some indication that they are attached to a ship. Right now they are kind of floating by themselves. The metal should have some similarity in color to the surroundings, or be in shadow. |

Hey, thanks Ben,
I really appreciate your feedback. I'll look into making the foreground a little bit more intergrated. I definitely agree with you. The sillouette idea is a good one. Maybe a sillouette with still some of the lit panels visible.
thanks
