Really nice
On the crit-side. The first part of shadow on the neck sort of sticks out, being brighter than the continuing layers. Also, adding som highlite in the eyes could help to intensify her look, make the eyes more alive. And her right eyelid (the one on the visible ear-side) looks like it's a bit too high up in the corner (halfway in and all the way out). Could help to paint it down a bit, if you understand what I mean?
Ok, alot of opinions here. Just to let you know, I really like the image! Nice loose painting style. Really looks like AJ, and I really like the way she looks! |

Yes, nice loose style. Colours are great too. The scribble-halo around the head gives an unfinished "unfinished" look :-)... Don't know if it is bad or not, but don't change it, you're done. |

Heya bro, I replied on eatpoo, but I'll say something here as well..
You've really improved a great deal, and your passion to continue practicing is very inspiring!
Just a side note, I dunno if you did this on purpose or not, but both your topic here and on Eatpoo you spelled her name wrong. It's Angelina Jolie ...heh. |

uhhh.. why did you just hijack his thread with your own picture?
Dude, I see that you're new, but use some common sense. Don't post your own work in someone else's thread, that's just rude. |

Don't be an ass. People have been doing it ever since I've been a member here, which is a long, long time. I usually skim through threads to see if anyone else posted their on things. He didn't "hi-jack" the thread, he's just contributing another bust.
Now, everyone hug and get back to drawing.
EDIT: I just noticed you registered before me. Which means you of all people should have known about what I just wrote.

Vermin - it's still rude. Just because some other people do it, doesn't mean it's ok, is it? |

Loki made my point exactly.
And it isn't like I was mean about it. I was simply telling him that it isn't the most respectful thing to do.
And if you've been here for so long YOU of all people should realize just how rarely it happens. Proof? Open up a couple hundred threads and see how many people post their work in someone else's thread looking for critiques. You won't find many, if any at all.
Posting your work in a speed painting thread, or as a paintover in someone else's thread is entirely different than just posting some random image that has no relation whatsoever to what is going on in the thread.

okey okey boys/girls. This was my second day I ever use this forum. This is my second day I ever use a tablet! A really big fight I made, I did NOT know how things are around here. Yeah, forgive me or not...same for me. Or do you think that I tried to "hi-jack" this thread. That was my first tablet picture, and I think you did the same when you guys were "juniors" here. I had no bad meaning in my message. The "real" picture was very good!!! And I really did NOT try to make any fight....that was a mistake. You understand? hmmm. =) |
