Hi, first time post here.
This is the first time I try my hand at doing any sort of scenery type art. It's also my 3rd time trying this style of art also.

Comments welcomed.

Thanks.

Extremely good rendering! The bright and vibrancy really brings across the sea-side feel.

Three points about your perspective though. And I do understand that these kind of building do not normally have perfectly strait walls.

1) It appears that the top edge extends too far back to hook up where edge #2 angling up.

2 & 3) Seem to diverge as they go up too much, they should remain parallel or near so from this point of view.

Also the horizon line of the sea seems to tilt downwards from left to right.

Just some things to look out for and may only take a few minutes to fix. Other wise leave it alone it has great tones and color.

ValarianROOT, thanks for the comments and example pic.
You are right on the 3 points, for some reason I didn't notice those things.

I'll see what I can do later on tonight when I get home from work to try and fix it up.

Thanks again.

Hey - nice one. Cool how you painted the whole thing so blown out. Takes courage to do that.
Here are some points though:

* The sky in the background is too dark. Lighten it up and it'll add a lot.

* the blown out areas could use a tiny bit of aura - meaning glow.

Is there reference to this piece? If yes it'd be cool to see it. And if no, it's be awesome to see how youm started out!

Cool going - show us more ... !

It is quite fun to do stuff like this, a nice change of pace from what I do at work.
