Wow, this is very good, especially for it being a first time and with a mouse at that. It's got a great aptmosphere. I really like the tree in the foreground; the way it has a lot of moss and vines hanging off of it. Maybe you could make the background row of trees thicker, right now it looks like they are a single row of tress. _________________ Hire me. http://www.spherenoire.com/ |

its nice, colours are nice, that tree certainly is good, but there seems to be something wrong with the perspective, or otherwise, the sun's reflection should/could be brighter, and the bushes ahead need more thickness, they look like a blank layer of colour covered over by a layer of branches, and somehow that dark outline on the bank of the lake is distracting, im not sure if its supposed to look like that? _________________ Derelict Studios|Godwin's Space |

Hi, thanks for the comments.
But.. now that you've pointed out the things that look odd, can you describe perhaps how to fix them? What can I do to fix the perspective, reflection, and the dark line.. Yes the dark line was there to distinguish the shoreline hehe, you are right though with everything you said...
Perhaps a little more detailed info would be great, I'm learning as I go =) |

im not too good either, do the opposite to fix them?
the shoreline, just....paintover?
the bushes...layer more branches at lighter colours at different distances
and just make the sun reflection closer to white(the colour of the sun up there, with a tint of blue)
well, look at pictures, watch disovery channel, landscape photographs, they're all bound to help _________________ Derelict Studios|Godwin's Space |
