Hiya.
This is my first try at painting landscapes, i have set the theme to jungle, riverbank. Im working in Adobe Photoshop. 300 DPI, about 5000pixels wide.
Im using Wacom Intuios A4.
Lol, i was working on the background for the image, it was messy and green. Something was missing, so i started drawing a waterfall. Soon i though this was looking way better than my original sketch. So screw the original. Now im working on a waterfall instead. Its a couple of hours left.
You can find all my saved steps here:
http://www.nalf.it/dump/riverbank/
UPDATE - I made a waterfall image instead!
This is also a WIP, im gonna do detailwork everywhere.
Comments, CCs greatly appreciated. Im gonna work on
it all night. its 05.21, i started 22.00 but im far from tired.
I love doing art
The waterfall 50%:
Original sketch for this work. The waterfall is based on the rigth detailed corner
Step 04. - small size - 12.5%
As this is a new style for me i would love all input, help, tips.
I always do soft and clean airbrushing. This is a more messy approach _________________ Sincerely

release at 100% 300dpi so we can print as a poster (w00t, w00t)
the detail is fantastic.

thanks eyalyab
rofl, i wish i had a SGI.. btw, can they run photoshop?
I use a DELL computer, 1ghz, 256 rdram. it works quite well, but a new computer is prolly an investment this summer.
I want a little mystical set, but for now i only paint in green, brown palette.
i will play with lighting sources and reflections, light arrays and stuff as postwork.
Do you guys think that making more air, sky above the image would help the composition later on? _________________ Sincerely
