Hey everybody! I'm planning to go into developing my art skills, abilities, talents, what have you, when I get back from my first year of military training since I'll be popping back when course registration will be closed at the nearby colleges and I'll be able to afford it. I've been looking at taking a Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Course offered at the Bronx botanical gardens or at the art students league in NYC. I'm reading, hearing, and more importantly SEEING some pretty motivating stuff about it all and it's a bit overwhelming.
I was WONDERING if anyone's taken a Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain course before, be it with the author of the book herself, Betty Edwards, or with another instructor. I've got an older edition of the course book, but I'm curious if there are people who come here who could say they learned something from the course itself as well as the book. IF you've got negative experiences, please be specific on what about the course you didn't like. IF you DID like it, specify how it helped and if you'd endorse it to others. _________________ [:: Digital Marmalade! ::]
