Id like to apply.
I live in BC Canada.
I spend most of my time in either Random Musings or Gallery/Finished works, so naturally Id prefer to moderate one or both of those.. although If I were needed for discussion or WIP Id have no problem with that either.
I feel that I have been an active and responsible member of this board for a good while now and I feel I know enough to stay out of flame wars and other trouble, and I believe I understand the rules of the board.
Sijun.com is my home on the internet.. I have learned more from this forum than any other real life teacher, any other forum, and anything Ive done at work or personally... Im proud to be a member of the Sijun community and would love a chance to contribute more effectively to the well being of the board.
I think Freddio and Sumaleth do an amazing job moderating these forums especially with 8000+ members, and I would love to do anything to help them. |

leave me be. if i was supposed to moderate the forum, i couldn't post OPINION posts anymore. might as well go to dbm forums (if i'm not banned) in that case. i don't want to mod. i make hissing sounds at you.
edit, on the other hand.. yeah why not. at least it'd bring some content to my life. but then again, if i go away from here, there'll be no need for moderation anyway. on the other hand, if i get a fancy 'moderator' tag under my name, people won't insist on trying to pick up fights with me all the time and i wouldn't have to counter their fgfxhate.... oh the six edged sword! the balance! *twitch*
do what you like. i might not decline of the chance either, but as far as i know i'm not exactly in the top ten of dhabih's favourite people list. even if i was the only volunteer/candidate on the whole planet, chances are quite slim i'll end up as a mod. either way is fine with me. i think. i'm not quite sure.

Mods can also fix double posts and add nudity warnings. And nickname changes ... maybe we just don't know what else Sumaleth has to do all the time.
And maybe there would be a good faq by now if there were moderators with more time on their hands

I think at this point, this topic is like beating a dead horse. Until Dhab starts to remain interested in this forum, things will stay as they are.
People have moved on to other forums already--some still come back and visit--like going home for X-mas to see mom and dad. Some never left. But either way, sijun has finally settled into a comfortable pace. No real changes are needed. |

| I say make everyone a mod. Imagine the fun we'd have, changing people's posts to say whatever we want them to say, deleting threads that contain lousy pictures, deleting nudity warnings so people get in trouble at work/school, moving all the threads back to page 100 so no one can find them, etc. |

I don't know that I would be a 'vigilant' mod, but I'd correct things when I happen to stumble across them

Dhab was interested after the NEW LOOK for about a week or so? Its better then nothing. I mean, hey, he started this THREAD didnt he?
Hes like a fuck buddy that lives in another country and you only see once a year and have great sex but then you know you will never hear form them again for many years the whole time thinking that you two are destined to be together forever and maybe one day your fuck buddy will realise that and come to stay for good.

I've been watching how this topic is developing now. it seems dhab is not interested anymore, that's very wrong.
things aren't going to be as peacefull as they are now you cant expect that.
so dhab is it so hard to take care for some moderators with more powers like banning (or whatever). Just say that you care ytou cant ignore 9500 people.
as sad earlyer: people are leaving.
