How come I always have to post next to John or Craig or somebody kickass?
This was for conceptart.org's DSG - topic was "Women in Combat"
I wanted to look at women's roles in combat as evidence of the advancement of a culture. When women from one culture can fight and lead in the liberation of women from another culture, its quite remarkable, when taken in a historical sense.

Anthony: Awesome style! Is this done in Photoshop? Is the background scanned in or is done digitally?
This is probably gonna turn up as a big black square on most people's monitors, but... meh...

heh, you said "teste".
was that what you used for your background, duracel?
Awesome stuff everybody, really. Omi-kun, i like your recent piece, nice perspective on it.
Capt.FlushGarden, i have no idea how you did that robot picture on there, but i must say its incredible.
Ceenda: nice lighting
Matthew: you captured the 3-d feel nicely. I also liked your "dot" pictures on the previous page.
keep up the great work, everyone _________________ aliensamurai.deviantart.com |

i mean "i have tested my new brushes"
And yes, i used those custombrushes for the background, but also for the gun-fire and as dual-brush for the rest. _________________ Lars Gtze

Hello
Iliya Zilberter - Thank you.
Anthony - Amazing texture once again, how do you do that?
Duracel - I like your experiments, I am also trying to experiment as much as possible with different stuff. I like that brush setting a lot and I can see it will come in handy with robots. As you can see below my creature wants your brush or he will get angry .....Kidding
Nice work Duracel.

Photoshop round brushes + mouse
1/2 hour tone on tone excercise.
A woman. It's hard to tell but she has large hips and a VERY mesomorph build.
I haven't experimented with the brushes yet...but I LOVE everyone's textures on this thread. wow!

My first try at a speed painting. Used my new puppy (12 weeks old) as a reference.

C. Divinity - Thanks! I'll have to get a minitut together, post it in here - not much to it really, just using textures in different layers with different effects
This is another colored Feng sketch. The original he posted over at conceptart.org, so be sure to check it out over there. This was about 30 minutes, and a real pain in the neck cause he had shaded it already I like simple line drawings!
