This took me 7 hours to do, but not all in one sitting. The original image is 4000x3000 at 300 DPI. So, anyway this is my second attempt at this style of art, critique away, since I'm still learning!

I can see you have your own style here, it's very smooth. I like the eyeshadow effect. A few crits - careful with the eyes themselves. They seem to be mismatched, slightly different sizes. Try and get them the same size. Personally, I would like the hair to have a black outline like the rest, it seems to stick out a little because of this but that could just be a personal preference. Also, maybe some harder highlights on the lips. Overall, it's a nice piece though...I'm liking the style you have. keep it up _________________ Stay Frosty!

Thanks for the critique!
I guess this is going to be a precursor (right?) for comic book style art. This has made me want to get into it more. I have a bunch of "how to" books on that. But those are the older 80's style of drawing. But this style is more of a "new time" comic style.
I'm going to try to learn new styles, but I want to hang around the Danger Girl/Gen 13 style of art.
So, I guess, hehe, wish me luck? _________________ Whoa, so if I type in here the text will appear in my sig? |
