Hi, I used a reference for the sealight and sky but the ocean and the wall is what I am having trouble with (trying to use my imagination). Are there any weird blurs, colors, angles... Critics & comments most needed.
Thanks to all, awesome work in this forum. _________________ Chaplin |

actually you got more replies for your perfect princess than for this painting...
This one is better but you know that anyway...don't you?
You have to work on the waves. Make 'em more rough!
The whole image is too bright, and the horizon is too flat...still a quite nice pice of art |

The perfect princess was a joke in its raw essence to create a little bit of humor -- sorry folks if it offended some of you as I noticed.
Are the waves by the rocks and the shape of the rocks themselves fine? Are the birds too noticeable and finally I showed this a few friends and they told me the water looks too icy. I really cant tell after seeing this image for such long time. _________________ Chaplin |

The bricks are nice rendered but abit too big...or the lighttower is too little...
The waves are too blurry. Give 'em more shape value...add light and shadow
some ref pics will help you..water isn't easy to paint...I know that
the birds give some life into the scene - like that |

why did you take off the princes pic. i got back from a 5 day trip amd didnt get to see it.
anyways, about this one..
the sky and water should blend more in the horizon.
it looks like the water at the bay are much higher than the water in the rest of the pic, which is un-natular, needless to say.
people said the water looks lcy because the reflections in them make the water looks flat like ice.
i think fog would look nice near the watch tower |

thanks eyelab. the perfect princess image was simply a brown curve on a white image. Partially you could consider it a joke -- I removed it because a few ppl were getting tired of that sort of joke.
Thanks for the comments, you are right, the horizon is so high that makes the water seem higher than normal, and under normal dawn conditions there should be some fog. _________________ Chaplin |
