I really hope pierre will come back to Sijun in the speedy cause I love his work.
Been painting all day, a portrait of a crappy orc, couldn�t get the values right with the acrylics so I had to shake that feeling of me and sat down just now and made this speedy.
So the truth is out there I guess, I haven�t found it though, maybe comes with age.

rework of another old sketch.
self crit: stop it with the details already! consider more distinct foreground, midground, and background for composition purposes. Keep darkest dark for foreground and bring to gray as it receeds to background. Keep image sharpness consistent with focal range. Details look tacked-on otherwise.
