Geez, great cars around!
Finally managed to get a site up, it's really lo-fi since I didn't know anything about html or making websites before this evening.
This is not much of a speedy, just some old crap I gotta post to justify this kind of marketing speech...

Can't believe that image was in your junk folder...

All those great cars!

sometimes I feel like hitting the road and striking out west, maybe spend a week in New Mexico. *sigh* if only I could afford the time. And the gas. And the camping fees. And the...
This'll have to do for now.

Swarm, love all your girls :)
theBrave, your car rocks!
Spooge, the perspective in your last one is fantastic, ... and especially like this speedy man in the upper-left.
Capt.Flushgarden, why your last car? Sure, as everyone(except spooge ^^) you are not perfect (but as you know) in spite of that your cars are damn fuckin' genius!
So dont despise your own work, get the fuck out of your selfpity and show us some more!!! :)
own ideas based on a friends painting

Thanks duracel. I think that image was my best speed paint to date, but how much is that saying? hmmm
Flushy, so we all suck, that's OK. All we can do is try to suck less. It's fun!
This is an acrylic painting (20*30") of an old speed paint I did. I copied this becasue I just wanted to worry about size and the paint itself. The idea is if I can paint big and do it quickly(~3hrs), there is a business in selling in galleries maybe. I just don't like the look of digital prints at all. Well, there are probably 100 holes in this idea, but it was fun to do.

Capt.Flush, I agree with Duracel above here, especially that latest one was very nice.
Spooge, I think the acrylics works very well, now lets see one in oil too.
viag, thx there
Spyro, nice stuff lately
oDD, I like that latest car there

Thank you Duracel (&matthew) for your words, maybe I sound silly sometimes, writing hate messages to myself hehe. cause in fact IT IS JUST PRACTISE
Spooge, That picture (the digital one) was one of my favourites, and I'm a bit shocked now that it is now a REAL painting!!! you HAVE to tell me if you're willing to sell it to me?! (I'll buy it if it isn't too expensive hahaha:) |

Spooge... have you printed your digital work big -- like 5 or 6 feet in width or height? ...And in a frame under glass. Big picture under glass? I'm finding it quite spectacular if the picture has the digital medium imprint. It tends to diminish in impact if created to look like traditional painting. Then it just appears to be a reproduction of a painting... but digital, it's great!
Here's a sketch for a picture I'm working on - Einstein as a mime... Thinking about the background for it...

hmm, Matthew vs Realism without ref, 0 - 2
Yesus, you leave the painting for 5 minutes then you find one gazillion errors in it, I guess there are probably a gazillion more errors in it.

statue on my table... turned out to be a disaster.
couldn't see the subtle colors of the statue's material. most of the
forms are wrong too. plus I found that brush everyone's using here,
here's an example of what not to do with it. ;)
any help, critique, direction, whatever is very welcome.

spooge, you lost a little of the impact from the digital in the way of the strong lightsource (but i like the colour better) but damn, if i could knock that out on canvas in 3 hrs , i can definately see the market for it, excellent sideline (although i'd love to see prints offered too)
*insert dodgy fairy here*
btw, thx matthew |

Craig,
You never did reply back to me. ([email protected]) I have patience and if you really don't have time or your not interested then please let me know. Just give me an opportunity to tell you my business idea and why it is that i need your help.
I love your new speed paint. I use arcrylics myself but i don't know what brand of paints or cavas to use. My local store is www.opusframing.com
can you point out the materials you would buy from this store if you were buying them to achieve your quality of art?
Thank you. _________________ The strength of your skills magnifies with every minute of practice |

Slightly off-topic but this again reminds me of how strange it is to look at a picture which shows a landscape, Ive only seen in road movies. I LIKE your picture. At quick look it may not seem like much but it actually makes me feel something. Its a road far away from where I am! Yet I could allmost say that it moves me. Get it? Anyone? The "wonder" of internet? |

Hey, thanks for the comment. It's not often I get a response other than the usual "hey, cool" type. That was actually inspired by a sweeping view of IH-35 on the way home from school friday afternoon.
bleh. kinda boring, but I don't like posting without art.
