come on guy ... get the fuck off spamming this thread with such "nonsense".
Its no more necessary to "try" this ... you made this unit. If i'd like to see such pictures i would visit any female-photo-website and pressing the so-called "zhuzhu-filter"-button!
Challenge yourself!
Impress us with something new.
Would like to see ... well ... anything creative - is it as hard to do?
Come on, i know you'll make it! _________________ Lars Gtze

axhv>> nice ship!
swarm>> hot! looking forward to more oil paints from you
gecko>> cool underwater pics!
matthew>> try 2/3-point-perspective,youre gonna love it
gally0>> pure therapy!
brokencow>> kinda like your mecha design.maybe spend some time on dealing with contour, could bring more life to it...well,not sure, its your style actually.
what can you do when you dont really have any idea abt ID...a f15+helicop+whateverfreak maybe a good choice
zhuzhu>> found this yesterday after seeing your MJ pic, must be over 3 years ago

Brassy, I'm really liking your recent speedies. Simple and to the point.
Zhu: I have to agree with Duracel. After having seen the trillionth pastel and watercolor calendar girl, I can safely say I get the point. What next?
Cheers

zhuzhu, sorry, i didn`t do my self clear. It was not about What you draw, but about how you draw. Compare the style of you last one and one with "miss dirty sex" - that was the point.
I guess that drawing from ref is aimed to teach the light, colours and form. But it`s not an aim itself.
PS. that cartoon style piece is great.
Matthew, Duracel, Wasssup
Thanks!
Three old sketches.
looks bad - too organic
I attempted to improve the feeling of tech...

axhv>> about feeling of tech, when you look at a sparth, hpx or scotts picture, there isnt really much trick in it, its all about DESIGN IMHO.

the level here just rises, great work everyone
and here's something awful, as usually, tried to focus more on getting the shapes right than usually. I should practise more on painting, I've just been drawing latly
Edit: haha, forgot the image
edit x 2:
Here's a more standard one, swedish underground from memory:

brasshorse > I really like your recent posts (and also the stuff on your homepage).
Anjin > I like the colours in that one alot.
I haven't really done anything worth posting, so I'll just post this crappy paintchat doodle that is far from finished and not going anywhere. \o/
When I leveled the cap in photoshop I got the contrast I really wanted, but I saved the original.
I'll have to start understanding colours better soon or I'll go berzerk.
[edit: I played around with it in PS adding reflections until I gained a headache from having trouble focusing due to all the highlights. I r smart.] |

Look. I'm a shape copying monkey.
A textured brush would do me good.
