All I can say so far is nice shading, but your anatomy needs work, unless it's meant to be stylized like that.

If you want to know anatomicially what's wrong and how to fix it, I'll do so, but if you want to figure that out for yourself, you're free to do so. However, so far from what I can see that is your only weakness besides figuring out just what is going on in a scene and why their bodies ar3e positioned in certian ways.

Anyway, reply back if you want me to eat away at your use of anatomy.

thanks, um yea im pretty happy with the position of wolverine and proportions of him but for some reason ... i cant figure out what is wrong with spider man he seems flat to me or something and i cant figure a way to fix it ... i should have shaded wolverine in first so that i can play around with spider man afterwards but oh well ... any help on that would be really helpful.

Well, one of the main problems that I can see with spiderman is that he is shaded about 3 different ways that I can see. His shoulders and arms have a light source coming from right behind, the mask has a light source coming from in from and to the right of the picture, and the leg closest to us seems to have something similar, but without the highlight that I would expect on the knee, and on the thighs.

Other than that I think it's the blue parts of the costume that you need to give more volume to as I think that you have done a pretty good job on the red parts of the costume.

yea, the second spider man is alot better, I like spidermans left arm. Wolverine needs alot of work though...

try giving him heavier shading. make the rest of his body shaded more like wolverines left arm...

the right arm is buging me. I can tell you using distortion to make it look like its coming twords you, but what it really comes offf as is his arm seems to be going straight sideways with a hand floating in front of it. I think teh arm itself needs to be made thicker.

Otherwise its lookin good

A suggestion, it looks like you used the burn and dodge tool? Am i right or wrong? Well if you did i suggest you throwing those away into the past. When i first started digital painting i always used those but now i have come to learn that they are crap, the burn tool doesnt darken things it burns things. lol. i only started to notice that when i used it alot more. The dodge tool isnt as bad but it is not needed, in my opinion it ruines the whole look of the original colour, if you want to highlight or darken something.

For Example: If it was a red you want to darken have your basic red you are using then, go over it with another red but a bit darker, and same as lighter but vise versa.

This isnt too bad for starter, but i suggest staying away from dodge tool and burn. Also NEVER EVER use white! And try not so much black somethin close to it but not straight. Good luck.
