*blink*
Ummm...yeah...I made a theme song: Assault Orchestra
Yeah. Not really sure why I did...possibly because I just like playing with string noises and tiny trumpet blurts.
Whatcha think? |

Hamster baby, you can get a whole bunch of money by doing this sort of music for movies! Say that you have a 100 piece orchestra, and they'll never know this new classical piece was done by a skinny geek typing up numbers on computer
Sweet eh? you might get on TV like that too, hang out with Moby and eat poop. |

I liked it. Just had to wait for my dad to leave before I could download it. It sucks not technically being allowed to download things . |

Thanks =)
Yeah, I don't do the techno thing all the time. I like to mix everything together...that's my favorite.
How did I do this? Well: I'm using Buzz Tracker, a software tracking program, and some random string samples I found on the net. =) Yay! |

Uhhh.....Yeah, [Shiz]...there's no other way to do it! Even if you use a Hardware synth it's still just samples. =) |

Booo... Hamster uses samples, and loops :0
What a copy/paster! LOL
Ya, but VST plugins sound good, and you can do VERY nice sounds with some of them - like rainbow2 or SimSynth. |

I've been messing with buzztracker for a while too, how did you get so gOOD hampster? Is it one of those born with talents, or have you spent many many hours messing with things?
Sounded like a real orchestra, sorta reminded me of some of the hitman 2 music...very nice...
I'll have to post a wierd quasi-ambient song of mine one of these days. |

How about trying an orchestral composition without using loops? I want to hear an orchestral track you composed/arranged/performed on your own. |

Lunatique: I DID compose, Arrange, and Perform this on my own...There are NO loops in this song. only 8 orchestral string samples.
Bah! Shizo!, You Fruity Bum! I don't use loops for my music. You might... o_O *pokes you in the eye* heh
Hunago: Well, Cause he doesn't have any pants. Why else would someone be looking for pants? =)
Nilwort: We're all born with "it"...just some of us, like myself, have nothing better to do than sit around and play with noises all day! (Well, I do have something better to do 'now'...but I didn't back then.)
Coaster: Aye? Cool. *feels fuzzy*
*ZACK*: I refuse!

from what I understand, samples are one-shot "duuuuuoooAAAAHHHHH" things, and loops are actual pre-made melodies that you crap together... |
