>Matthew : Yes your progress were really evident during your last posts, sincerely. I hope this is only a little break, and that you'll be back soon. But you'll learn a lot with oil and gouache I'm sure on this, so don't hesitate to post your scans. Laughing

The only thing pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean was Johnny Depp's costume Wink To be honest the first 5 minutes were so promising: "the Ring" on sea.. What it ended up being was 90% Disney and 10% Gore Verbinski.. Didn't guess I would see more of the pirate film I had hoped for in the form of a film where there's no pirates at all, Master and Commander. It has the right feel, right look, if it only had pirates in it Very Happy

(This is an important lesson in composition, more precisely: How to NOT do it! Absolutely no planning involved, I just thought I'll do a fast pirate sketch... that was fun, I think I'll draw another character there.. why not a third one? I should have known better.. Very Happy but it was FUN)

Cartoon characters in semi realistic shading.. I think Frost posted some in the past but honestly I don't remember seeing anything apart from that, would love to see more!
